If you’re anything like me, you want a happy, fulfilling life. Where you are healthy and successful.
It’s possible, you just have to take the proper steps to create that life for yourself.
I’ve spent a lot of time researching some of the most successful people and their daily habits.
They all have a lot of things in common with how they start their days and I’ve made a list to look back on.
Tips To Help You Stick To Your Morning Habits
- Get 7+ hours of quality sleep every night
- Start with small, healthy habits first
- Be kind to yourself
- Stay off your phone for at least an hour after you wake up
- Do bed stretches to help you wake up
- Reward yourself after every week of self-discipline
Remember, you are allowed to do whatever works best for you. Just stay consistent. Whether its everyday, every other day or twice a week. Start somewhere and you can add new habits over time.
The Best Morning Habits For Success
1.) Wake Up early
A great morning habit is no doubt waking up early. It’s a peaceful time, where you can get a lot done with minimal to no distractions. As long as you are getting enough sleep at night, waking up early will come naturally.
2.) do some form of body movement
Body movement helps blood flow throughout our body especially to our brain! Which means, more concentration, more focus and more motivation. Get into a morning routine of stretching, yoga, running or following your favorite gym exercise trainer online.
3.) take a shower
Hot showers feel amazing, the heat can help relax your muscles which is why we tend to get sleepy. Wake yourself up for a successful day and make a habit of taking a cold shower. It’s refreshing, and will make your skin and hair glow.
3.) express gratitude
Whether it’s saying “Thank you” out loud, or writing it down in your grateful journal. An attitude of gratitude will help you feel blessed to be alive. When you feel blessed to be a live, you will gain so much motivation to do things you might’ve never done before.
4.) make a to do list
Every successful person needs a plan. Listen to this video of millionaire Brian Tracy explaining one of the best ways for you to write down your goals in order to help you create a successful life.
5.) prioritize atleast 3 goals
When setting yourself up for success, you have to have goals in mind. When you prioritize your goals you put yourself in the mindset of accomplishing them. Keep it going. Just as Brian Tracy said in the video above, nothing can stop you put yourself.
6.) read a book
Educate yourself. Some of the best books most people can’t stop talking about are about personal development, financial success, —- Make it habit to read at least 1 book per month. There’s that saying “You are what you eat.” Which can be very true. I also believe “You are what you read.”
7.) make time for self-care
Making time for yourself is important in making you feel more balanced in your life. You never want to feel like you’re just going and going and going without taking a moment to stop and do things that actually make you feel at peace and happy in your life. Self-care can also provide benefits to your overall mental health. By making you more productive, reducing stress and anxiety and it can even help you build better relationships with those around you.
8.) Listen to motivational content
Let motivation consume you! If you don’t have motivational friends and family. A great daily habit is listening to podcasts, or YouTube videos that will inspire you to stay focused on your life goals. Even music can be really motivational.
10.) daydream
Or in other words, visualize the life you want for yourself. Some of the most successful people in the world have visualized their success before it ever happened. People like Jim Carrey, Oprah Winfrey & Will smith (source) talk about the power of visualization and writing down your goals. So go ahead all you daydreamers, do your thing.
